Serving: 4 persons      

Ingredients:

Chick Peas/Kabuli Chola  - 1 cup

Mustard seeds - 1 tsp

Curry Leaves - 6, chopped

Dry Red chillies - 2-3

Fresh Lime - 1 small

Salt - To taste

White Oil - 2 tbsp

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Preparation:

  1. Soak chola overnight. This step may be skipped if using canned chickpeas.

 

Cooking procedure:

  1. Pressure cook with 3 cups water and salt. 4 whistles on high flame.

  2.  Drain water.

  3. Heat oil in kadai.

  4. Add red chilli and mustard seeds. Let seeds splutter.

  5. Then add curry leaves and fry for 30 sec on medium heat.

  6. Then add boiled chola and fry for 2-3 min. Adjust salt per taste.

  7. Serve with fresh lime wedges.

 

Serving Suggestions:

A very delicious tea time snack and easy to prepare.
