These puff pastries are the perfect way to begin your dinner menu or to enjoy that hot cup of tea with a quick snack. An assortment of puffs can be prepared with minced meats, paneer, or green peas to cater to all tastes.

 

  

 

Ingredients:

Pastry Sheets - 1 packet (Pepperidge Farm Pastry Sheets found in US departmental stores makes 18 pastry puffs)

Filling of your choice - 1/2 cup (Keema Filling, Paneer Filling, Motorshuti Filling)

 

Preparation:

  1. Thaw pastry sheets at room temperatures for about 45 minutes (as directed on the packet). Open the folds and cut out 3 inch squares.

  2. Add 1 tsp filling at the center of each square. Seal diagonally opposite corners (as shown above) and along the sides with a wet fingers.

  3. Preheat oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

  4. Bake  for 15 minutes.

  5. Serve hot with pudina chutney, tabasco sauce or your desired sauce.
