Serving Size: 3-4 persons
Ingredients:
Bhetki - 1 pound, cut into 6-8 pcs
Onions - 1 small, cut into squares
Ginger - 1/2 inch, juliennes
Garlic - 2 cloves, thinlu sliced
Green Bell Pepper/Capsicum - 1 small, cut into squares
Red Bell Pepper - 1 small, cut into squares
Tomato - 1 small, de-seeded and cut into squares
Coriander leaves (cilantro or dhania) - chopped, 2 tbsp
Green Chillies - 3-4, slit and de-seeded
Salt - To taste
Black Pepper/Golmorij - coarsely ground, 1/2 tsp
Light Cream- 1/4 cup
Butter - 2 tbsp
Cheese - grated, 2 tbsp (optional)

Cooking procedure:

Rub fish with a pinch of turmeric and salt and wash gently. Drain water.

In a bowl, mix fish with all the ingredients except the butter and cheese. Keep aside for 15 minutes.

Bake the fish using one of the two methods described in 4 or 5.

In a large pan, pour water, and place the fish bowl on a trivet. Add butter on top of the fish mixture, sprinkle with cheese. Cover the entire pan with a lid. Cook for 15 minutes. Test whether the fish is cooked with a fork (till tender). Remove the bowl and garnish with coriander.

To the bowl from Step 2 above, add butter and grated cheese. Microwave on medium for 10 minutes. Check whether the fish is cooked with a fork. Remove the bowl and garnish with chopped coriander.
Serving Suggestions:
Serve hot with steamed rice, fried rice, peas pulao, or bread. Serve with thin lemon wedges.
