(Potato Onion Fry)

Servings: 2-3 persons

Ingredients:

Potatoes - 200 g cut into longitudinal strips

Onions - 100 g cut like the potatoes

Haldi - One pinch

Dry Red Chillies - 2 whole

Salt - To taste

White Oil - 3 tbsp

(This is not a deep fried item)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Cooking procedure:

  1. Heat oil in a kadai.

  2. Add whole red chillies

  3. Add cut potatoes and fry for 4 min

  4. Then add cut onions and fry on medium heat with cover. Cover is essential to make the potatoes and onions soft.

  5. Stir and cook till potatoes are done.

 

Serving Suggestions:

Serve with Luchi/Poori or with rice and dal on the side.
