(Potato-Cauliflower Fried)

Serving: 3-4 persons

Ingredients:

Phulkopi/Cauliflower - 2 cups, small florets

Potato - 2 cups, small cubes

Kalonji seeds - 1/2 tsp

Dry red chilli - 2

Sugar - 1tsp

Salt - To taste

White Oil - 3 tbsp

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Cooking procedure:

  1. Heat oil in a kadai. Make sure the oil is very hot.

  2. Add kalonji and dry chillies and fry for 30 sec.

  3. Add cut potatoes and fry for 2 min on high heat.

  4. Add cauliflower florets and turn the heat to medium settings. Cover for 2 min (for softening).

  5. Remove cover, add green chillies, salt  and sugar.

  6. Continue to fry till golden brown. Do not add water to this dish.

                        

 

Serving Suggestions:

Serve with rice and masoor dal. Tastes very good with ghee bhath and khichudi.
