Ingredients:

*Lau-shak or bottle gourd greens - 250 g

Ground Mustard Seeds or Kashundi - 1 tsp

Green Chillies - 2 (optional), chopped

Salt - To taste

Oil/Ghee - 2 tbsp

* tender leaves from upper stem are used for this preparation

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Cooking procedure:

  1. Cook the leaves in boiling water.

  2. Drain water and mash with mustard seed paste, salt, green chillies and mustard oil.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve hot with steamed rice or with khichdi. A great preparation for those in a hurry or no cooking experience.
